The 2024 Artisan Collection

Wallaroo Founder and CEO, Stephanie Carter, gives you a behind the scenes look at our 2024 Artisan Collection. These exquisite, all-natural straw hats are handcrafted at an artisan co-op located just outside of Guadalajara, Mexico. 

As a Certified B Corp, sustainability is a very important part of how Wallaroo conducts business.Our artisanal hats are handcrafted from all-natural palm fiber, and as a result, they are 100% compostable at the end of their life cycle, meaning they are better for people and better for the planet. 

At a recent visit to our factory, Wallaroo management was able to witness firsthand how the artisanal hat's manufacturing process involves handcrafted traditions, preserves techniques, and supports local communities' craftsmanship. 

 Meeting the rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency is important to Wallaroo. 

We want our customers to support businesses that align with their values, and we would like to be a leader in this important movement. 

Wallaroo is known for its stylish and sun protective hats, and the hand-crafted straw hats in our artisanal collection are a continuation of these practices. 

We are excited to expand our 25th Anniversary Collection with the release of two new artisanal styles for 2024, the Cortez and Marina.
